TDI proposes updated NFPA standards in SFMO rules

The Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) adopts amendments to the State Fire Marshal's Office (SFMO) rules found in Texas Administrative Code, Title 28, Chapter 34, Subchapter C, Subchapter E, Subchapter F, and Subchapter G.

The amendments adopt updated standards published by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) in the SFMO rules. The rules go into effect September 1, 2023.
